| Why |
By showing people how to make simple small pv panels that they can use to power radios and charge rechargeable cells, thus avoiding the need for expensive control devices as well as saving energy. Our goal is to help the poor in developing countries, the many millions without electricity. DIY Solar is offered freely to poor people to allow them to have a little electricity and, equally important, also generate some income.
When requested for a developing country, we send a small FREE sample of a pv panel with a NiCd pack, as above, which powers an LED or radio. |
